Mama in the City: Circle Craft Christmas Market: Ticket Giveaway!

Well, Hello There!

Mama in the City since 2008 and blogging since 2009!

Hi! I'm Andrea, a 30 something girl who loves living the downtown lifestyle and didn't want to give it up once I started a family. I live in beautiful Vancouver city right along the seawall and three years ago I had my first baby.

My first apartment baby is now a full on boy and we struggle with finding space in our condo for his growing toy collection. I'm also a new mum to our second apartment baby, born January 13, 2012!

I have a husband who is an excellent cook and takes amazing photos. I work as a labor and delivery nurse and really love the work that I do and gave birth to baby #2 at my work place.

I use this space to write about my family and to share my passion about breastfeeding, birth and parenting. I have a fantastic purse collection and have loved watching it grow, mostly lovely gifts over the years from my husband. I currently have a closet full of purses that are too small or impractical to fit a diaper or sippy cup in, and so they are on hold for future years.

Circle Craft Christmas Market: Ticket Giveaway!

If you're a Vancouverite, or somewhere nearby, you might be aware that in a couple of weeks the annual Circle Craft Christmas Market will be happening downtown. This is an event I've been checking out for over the last 5 years and it never fails to get my Christmas juices flowing. Plus, I love a good reason to browse and shop and touch nice things.

A usual annual stop for me includes sampling some of the artisan foods such as Belgian chocolate from Abbotsford's ChocolaTas (seriously, oh so delicious!). I have a mad love affair with chocolate and declare these chocolates to be very delicious. Last year I found Josie the cutest organic onesie and purple sweater from local company Zoolu Organics. I love supporting local business and the Circle Craft Christmas Market is full of vendors from around Canada.

This year the market runs from November 7-11th at the Vancouver Convention Centre West and tickets are available on line. I have two tickets up for grabs for you to win to attend!
