Update*** Contest is now closed and the winner via random.org is Teya! Congratulations and I hope you enjoy the Christmas Market this year :)***
Over the years I've had a tradition with one of my longtime girlfriends of attending the Circle Craft Christmas Market in Vancouver. The first year that we went, I carried a baby in a sling and bounce and jiggled my way through the crowd while looking at the lovely artisans displays.
That same year I picked up a handmade musical owl that has been played every single night since Ben was a baby. Actually, I may have shed a little mama tear last year when I went by the stand and saw all of the latest musical owl creations. We have a blue owl and he hangs on a basket in Ben's bedroom. Each night we give him a kiss and pull the owl as we leave him to fall asleep.

This year will be our 4th annual trek to the Circle Craft Christmas Market and I am excited! It has become the unofficial kick start to the upcoming holiday season and this year I am even more in that advance planning mode with baby #2 coming along.
You can check out last years blog post about my finds and my subsequent wish list right here. I discovered LUprints and really loved the style of their local handmade textiles and I'm excited because I see that they will be this year again too!
Circle Craft Christmas Market asked if I would like to host a giveaway for my readers and I automatically said yes! This year the Christmas Market is running from November 9-13th at the Vancouver Convention Centre West. If you don't win tickets you can still buy them on line at www.circlecraft.net.
To win a pair of tickets for this years Circle Craft Christmas Market leave a comment on this blog post! A winner will be drawn on November 7th, 2011. Tickets will be available to pick up at the Will Call box on site.

Well, Hello There!
Mama in the City since 2008 and blogging since 2009!
My first apartment baby is now a full on boy and we struggle with finding space in our condo for his growing toy collection. I'm also a new mum to our second apartment baby, born January 13, 2012!
I have a husband who is an excellent cook and takes amazing photos. I work as a labor and delivery nurse and really love the work that I do and gave birth to baby #2 at my work place.
I use this space to write about my family and to share my passion about breastfeeding, birth and parenting. I have a fantastic purse collection and have loved watching it grow, mostly lovely gifts over the years from my husband. I currently have a closet full of purses that are too small or impractical to fit a diaper or sippy cup in, and so they are on hold for future years.
Have a question or a comment? Email me! I also love to read comments left on posts, so feel free to leave me a note!
