If you've been reading this blog from it's start back in Summer '09, you might have caught on that I'm a girl who loves good products and that I also love to have baths. My love of bathing has trickled down to my son and his nightly baths have become part of our bedtime routine. I was pretty tickled to be asked to review some locally made naturally pure bath products for Ben. I think my actual words were, 'bring it on!'.
I was sent the complete line of Vancouver's Coco & Tini bath line. This included a shampoo, conditioning detangler, bubble bath and bath wash. Part of the appeal to these products is their fantastic packaging, and Coco & Tini does a great job with their kid friendly cute designs. Right away Ben loved the animals on the four bottles and he was pretty excited to bring them into the tub with him that evening.
All of the products have the same soft fresh scent and are so gentle that they're perfect to use on a baby's delicate skin. When testing out the bubble bath we noticed that the bubble bath was frothy and the tub was full of bubbles, but the bubbles did disappear rather fast. This is because Coco & Tini products don't use the icky stuff like sulphates or surfactants that tend to be used to keep bubbles hanging around. Sounds good to me! I like the idea that these products are naturally pure and free from dyes and harsh detergents. We lathered Ben's hair with their shampoo and I was pretty impressed at how soft his hair was afterwards.
Now for the fun stuff! 1 winner will receive the complete bath line from Coco & Tini!

Well, Hello There!
Mama in the City since 2008 and blogging since 2009!
My first apartment baby is now a full on boy and we struggle with finding space in our condo for his growing toy collection. I'm also a new mum to our second apartment baby, born January 13, 2012!
I have a husband who is an excellent cook and takes amazing photos. I work as a labor and delivery nurse and really love the work that I do and gave birth to baby #2 at my work place.
I use this space to write about my family and to share my passion about breastfeeding, birth and parenting. I have a fantastic purse collection and have loved watching it grow, mostly lovely gifts over the years from my husband. I currently have a closet full of purses that are too small or impractical to fit a diaper or sippy cup in, and so they are on hold for future years.
Have a question or a comment? Email me! I also love to read comments left on posts, so feel free to leave me a note!

Now all I want to do is smell it for myself! ;o) I too am trying to cut back on all the harsh, nasty things added to our cleansing products. I love all the cute pictures on the bottles, perfect for kids. I like the fact that you said Ben's hair was so soft after a wash. I would assume this product is only available in Vancouver hey? I am missing out on a lot of cool things living way out here! ;o) Keep up the great work Andrea.
April 8, 2011 at 10:08 PMI have a couple of boys who love baths too. The more bubbles the better, especially for making beards. :)

I am sure bottles as cute as those would be the perfect distraction from the dreaded hair washing and conditioning that has become quite a chore for me and my biggest gal!
Looks like great products! Definately will be looking for them for Brooke. I am always looking for something to try and manage her crazy curls!

April 10, 2011 at 5:23 PMHaving grown up on the coast, and now living in the prairies . . . I so miss the lifestyle there - all the funky, organic, natural things that emerge from all the creative/artsy people that live there. SO want to try these products on my little guy!
