I am really loving this month long celebration for the anniversary of my blog. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I truly enjoy parties and presents and love to find reasons to celebrate! We are now in the 3rd week of gift giving and I think you will like this weeks giveaway!
I met Maureen McCartney, creator of Emily Press Labels, when I attended last months soiree for the Ultimate Vancouver Mom Blogger. She gave me some really high quality labels with 'Mama in the City' printed in blues and browns. I came home pretty stoked with my new personalized labels and started by putting them on my water bottle I use for work and then my extremely expensive Tupperware that goes in the communal work fridge. They are chic and lovely and so durable with washing!
Emily Press Labels sent me a whole booklet of personalized Camp Labels from the Kids Play Collection in our personal pick of Chocoblue colorway with Rascal and the red ball for Benjamin! What was in the booklet was:
2 Large labels
10 Shoe labels (love these!)
15 Popular labels
25 Slim labels
48 Tag-a-Tag labels
Total in pack – 100 labels neatly packaged in their own booklet keeping labels all in one place!
I can see these labels being very useful for children that go to camp this summer but also for those that are in daycare or school this fall. These labels can be put in your child's summer hat or their sports equipment and adhere to all different types of surfaces and they are totally waterproof.
The Prize: 1 lucky reader will win their own personalized set of waterproof Camp Labels!
The details: Go over to Emily Press Labels website and pick out your favorite label design. Come back here and tell me your pick by posting it in the comment section on this blog post. The contest will run for 1 week and is a perfect prize for any little one that you know.

Well, Hello There!
Mama in the City since 2008 and blogging since 2009!
My first apartment baby is now a full on boy and we struggle with finding space in our condo for his growing toy collection. I'm also a new mum to our second apartment baby, born January 13, 2012!
I have a husband who is an excellent cook and takes amazing photos. I work as a labor and delivery nurse and really love the work that I do and gave birth to baby #2 at my work place.
I use this space to write about my family and to share my passion about breastfeeding, birth and parenting. I have a fantastic purse collection and have loved watching it grow, mostly lovely gifts over the years from my husband. I currently have a closet full of purses that are too small or impractical to fit a diaper or sippy cup in, and so they are on hold for future years.
Have a question or a comment? Email me! I also love to read comments left on posts, so feel free to leave me a note!
Things this city mama loves

June 14, 2010 at 4:32 PMWhile they aren't my favorite label in the bunch (I like the Bloomin ones best), I know my oldest would love the Camo Blue Mix and he's the one most in need of something like this, so that's what I would go with :o) - you've got great giveaways Andrea!

I love the Bloomin' Urban ones or the Flip Flops. Having two munchkins I might just have to order a few sets!
June 15, 2010 at 8:01 AMMaybe it's because I'm from the California coast, and maybe it's because the labels are just too cute, but I love the flip flop design.
June 15, 2010 at 9:15 AMI love the Bloomin' Urban ones. My daughter's in daycare and I love the idea of labeling her clothes with something other than a Jiffy Marker.

June 16, 2010 at 7:11 PMI love the Colortime Camp Labels - these are such a great idea!
June 17, 2010 at 10:01 AMThese labels are a great idea for preschool, daycare, school etc. I had ordered some from another company 2 years ago as we were required to label everything (even shoes) for my daughter's preschool. The labels by Emily Press sound exactly the same and they are very durable and do really stay on (I've had the same label on my daughters water bottle for 2 years!). I think the labels with the cute cupcakes would be nice as she is starting kindergarten in the fall!
June 17, 2010 at 4:23 PMThanks for all you giveaways Andrea!
